What % gross profit is fair for any dealer to make?  The last 2 trucks I traded in were sold for about a 15% gross profit in 45-60 days.  After they take out the salesperson's commission, cost of advertising, depreciation of a vehicle being 2mo older, etc I wonder what the actual profit is back into the business?

Horsager,   profit is evil and anybody that tries to make a profit is evil.
"He said anyone that wanted to sell at a profit was a "reactionary".  Boss, was we reactionary back in them days we was selling beef cattle for .15 cents/lb on the hoof?  No use arguing with him, college boy."

Buying a car, boat, or atv is no different that buying anything else.  Walk in with a chip on your shoulder, holler, scream, demand, cuss, and in general make an ass of yourself, expect to be treated in kind.  If your pleasent you're likely to be treated in kind.

temps about the same shot yesterday and today in western nodak so about 55-60 degrees both days.   i gained almost 200fps going from 90gr to 93 grn and my group size cut  by half or more.

Were lighting conditions fairly consistant?  I know that my chrono can be wonky with fairly direct lighting.  I've just got an entry level Chrony and it seems like 1st light gives me my most consistant and accurate readings based upon the accuracy of drop charts developed with those numbers.

Don't get me wrong, I have no doubt that you picked up that extra 100fps I just honestly thought it would've been the other way given the bearing surface reduction on the TSX.  I was wrong again I see.

Yep that was through my chrony.  It is actually almost 100fps faster with the ttsx than it was with the exact same load with accubonds they were  3200fps.

Roughly the same temps on testing day?  Speed isn't magic and neither are bullets, I'm surprised at the 100fps difference as that's generally a designator of more pressure.  I'd have thunk with the driving bands cut into the monolythics that it's bearing surface would be less than the Accubond.  Just curious ramblings I guess.
